Description: This presentation will give a demonstration of the work being done on the Kuskokwim River by tribal transportation groups to keep winter travelers safe through continuous monitoring of changing ice conditions. Attendees will learn how traditional knowledge and new technologies are combined to keep winter travelers safe on the Kuskokwim River.
