Snow amounts in the mountains of southern Norway are at the lowest measured level in 20 years, reducing expected spring inflow to hydropower reservoirs. Authorities and Statkraft are closely monitoring the situation as hydropower production has dropped sharply and power prices are expected to remain high.

Water levels in the Oldman River reservoir are the lowest they've ever been since its construction in the early 1990s. The reservoir and the river are responsible for supplying water to a number of local communities, including Lethbridge. 

Water levels across Newfoundland are at record lows due to an ongoing drought and rising temperatures driven by climate change, leading to river closures and drying wells.

The snowpack level on Vancouver Island is at 0 per cent of typical levels for June, according to the latest Snow Survey and Water Supply Bulletin released by the B.C. River Forecast Centre.
