Brownfields, ANCSA Contaminated Lands, and What You Can Do

Joy Britt, Sr. Program Manager at the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium

Lisa Griswold, Environmental Program Specialist III, Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation

Description:

Observing and recording contaminated sites in our communities may seem difficult as many of us do not know what types of contaminants are present, how they may impact our health, our environment, and our food, and further do not want to get landowners in trouble. This LEO webinar will help shed light on what community members can do in regards to brownfields and new legislation that may help lead to clean-up!
