In the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, 22 active forest fires were still burning as of June 22, after responders extinguished 16 wildfires in a single day. The fires had affected more than 2,000 hectares, with crews working in Purovsky, Krasnoselkupsky, and Nadymsky districts.
