More than a dozen bald eagles—reportedly as many as 27 in a day—have been gathering for at least a week in trees by the Debarr and Muldoon Roads intersection in East Anchorage. Alaska wildlife officials suspect the birds may be being fed, and the matter has been referred to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service due to potential legal violations.
