A large iceberg is drifting in Ísafjarðardjúp, visible from Bolungarvík, after breaking off a very large ice island in the Greenland Strait. Experts warn that nearby boats should keep their distance because the iceberg can roll or shift suddenly and create a local wave.

Several unusually large icebergs were spotted northwest of Húnaflói, Iceland, including one estimated at nearly 400 meters high and 200 meters long. Officials say recent winds pushed the ice closer to shore, creating a hazard for marine traffic.

A huge iceberg—about 300 m long, 300 m wide and 75 m high—was spotted in a key shipping route north of Iceland, prompting a warning to mariners. The Icelandic Coast Guard located it roughly 42 nautical miles north of Hornbjarg during an aerial patrol.

A large iceberg was spotted approximately 93 km (57 miles) to the west of Látrabjarg, which is located in the north-west of Iceland.
