Flooding across North Idaho inundated roads and trails, triggered evacuations, and led to a swift-water rescue of a family near Kingston. Multiple counties reported damage as warm temperatures and snowmelt swelled rivers, including the Coeur d'Alene River.

Debris torrents and blockages, possibly triggered by a rainstorm high in the watershed, caused Mill Creek to overflow, flooding homes and streets.

Torrential rains across Tennessee flooded homes and at least one church and left roads impassable, prompting dozens of people to be rescued in the Nashville area. Authorities said four bodies were found Sunday in the flood’s aftermath. Precipitation has stopped, but flood warnings are in place for the next couple of days as rivers and creeks continue to rise.
