A lightning-caused wildfire in northern Wood Buffalo National Park is burning near the endangered whooping crane nesting area, raising concerns the birds may abandon nests. The fire had grown to about 12,353 hectares as of Tuesday morning, with crews using helicopters and air tankers to fight it.
