The dry weather during May and June is putting an increasing strain on Sweden's farmers. There is a risk that several farms will have to close down.

Sweden’s Lake Vättern is experiencing its lowest April water level since 2019, with shorelines noticeably larger than usual. SMHI reports the lake is about 24 cm below the average April level, a condition seen only a few times in the 2000s.
