The Alaska Department of Fish and Game announced it was closing the 2023-24 Bering Sea snow crab season for the second season in a row.
Nicole Greenwood comments: /It is significant because people can start losing their jobs from this. Not only this, this affects people and the environment. People will lose their jobs but, the crabs will be able to thrive again due to nobody fishing them again.
